 Sticky Balsamic Mushrooms

Sticky Balsamic Mushrooms

1/3 C olive oil
750g baby button mushrooms
salt to season
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped or minced
3 tblsp soft brown sugar
1/4C balsamic vinegar
thyme leaves

Heat oil in a heavy-based non stick pan and add mushrooms cooking for 5 minutes. Season with salt during this time.

Add garlic and cook for a further minute. Stir in brown sugar and vinegar and boil for 5 mins.

Put mushrooms on a serving plate and reduce the remaining liquid in the pan for 1 more minute.

Pour the sauce over the mushrooms and garnish with thyme. Enjoy.
