Chocolate Crispy Biscuits

1/2 C margarine (I used Nuttelex)
1 C caster sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten (or egg replacer)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 & 1/4 C self raising flour
2 C Rice Bubbles (Rice Crispies)
1/2 C milk choc bits
1/2 C white choc bits (I used dark choc for both)
1/2 C chopped hazelnuts (optional, I left them out)

It's school holidays here, I have kids coming over shortly and I found this recipe on the back of a Rice Bubbles box while getting breakfast for my son and thought I'd give it a go. 

Preheat oven to 180C (360F)

Beat margarine & sugar together until pale. Gradually add egg and vanilla, beating well. Stir in flour and mix until well combined.

Add rice bubbles and chocolate (and nuts if you're using them) and mix by hand until combined.

Spoon level tablespoons of mixture onto lined baking trays and bake for 10-12 mins.

Cool and if you wish sandwich the biscuits together with choc hazelnut spread.

Makes approx 24 single biscuits. Enjoy.
